• Founded as Industrial Machine Specialties in 1974 in Lincoln, Nebraska, by former high school friends Elmer Wessel and Nick Cusick, SourceOne has served its industrial client base for over 30 years. Throughout the 30-plus years of continual ownership, the company has grown internally and spawned successful sister companies due in large part to the creativity of its staff and the entrepreneurial spirit of its owners.In 1985, the desire for product and market diversification led to the establishment of Bison Inc, a name recognized nationwide in the sporting goods equipment industry. Since Bison's start it had acquired two companies, BRP in 2011 and IPI in 2012. BRP by bison is a site furnishings company that offers premium benches, litter and recycling receptacles and bike security stations. IPI by Bison is a leader in sporting equipment in new gyms.In 1999 we purchased a turf aeration product line. Our Plugr line of turf aerators has been recognized for superior performance and low maintenance operation and SourceOne's Outdoor Power Equipment group is now expanding its product line beyond the reciprocating turf aerator it is known for.So what does our history have to do with our ability to serve you?
