• Baptist Homes Society, established in 1910, has been part of the Mt. Lebanon community since 1915 when it moved from its first location in West Newton, PA. Baptist Homes and Providence Point offer retirement living, personal care, memory support, skilled nursing, short- and long-term rehabilitation, and respite care. The two operations are supported by the Baptist Homes Foundation, which manages an endowment and raises funds for the benevolent care ministry of Baptist Homes Society. Last year, more than $1.8 million in charitable care was provided. The two communities provide housing, personal care and nursing support for an average of 700 seniors daily Since opening in 2009, Providence Point has grown into a thriving Continuing Care Retirement Community and is more than 80% occupied. With a plethora of amenities like indoor swimming pool, four dining venues, spa and fitness center, indoor golf simulator, wood shop and lovely gardens, Providence Point is Pittsburgh's premier retirement address.
