    Description

    • RECap has been recycling electrodes since 1993 from our plant located in Northern Michigan. We currently remanufacture over 3 million caps per year. Automotive suppliers (tier 1 and 2) make up 50% of our business with the remainder shared between OEM accounts. Our customers save anywhere from 30% to 60% using recycled spot weld tips and 40% to 90% on projection weld electrodes. We have the capability to recycle over 100 different styles of spot weld tips and the majority of projection weld tooling, many 2 to 3 times. RECaps are designed to be interchangeable with new caps requiring no changes to weld schedules or equipment adjustment. It is common for our customers to use new caps and RECaps on the same gun at the same time Our web site has additional information about our process and examples of some of the caps we remanufacture.
