We are located in scenic Orem, Utah and are close to Salt Lake City, Brigham Young University and many world famous ski resorts including Park City, Snowbird, Deer Valley and Sundance.General InformationThe Mending Shed is a thriving small business, with a strong belief in not wasting. Craig Palmer founded The Mending Shed back in 1971 as a repair shop for household appliances. With a love of tinkering, and the help of his new wife they opened the doors for The Mending Shed on June 16th 1971. It originally started out as a one room shed, located on State Street in Orem, Utah.
