Yachting's Finest, Inc. is a licensed and bonded international yacht and ship marketing and brokerage firm originally established in 1991 as Yachting's Finest, Ltd., Inc. by Bob Carlson.Upon graduating from the University of Miami with a B.B.A., in Marketing, Bob signed on as a sales executive with Miller Yacht Sales, a factory owned Pacemaker and Egg Harbor dealership in Fort Lauderdale. He was instrumental in developing an MLS inventory database enlisting the cooperation of yacht brokers nationwide. Moving forward, and for 20 consecutive years, Bob was the marketing director and leading sales executive for Ralph Martins Everglades/Martin Marines sport yacht dealerships located across the Intracoastal waterway from Pier 66 and 17th Street Causeway in Ft. Lauderdale. Years of overseeing custom, new build construction projects for his clients, preparing ads, evaluating trades, securing financing, insurance, and yacht documentation served as the backbone to the professional way he manages his firm today. Bob also conceptualized, launched and administered www.overstockboats.com amidst the global recession offering new boat dealers a specific venue to market overstocked inventory.
