• Goodwill the Amity Group is the Hamilton and Halton Region Ontario Canada section of Goodwill Industries International, North America's 4th largest nonprofit organization.Goodwill Employment Solutions is one division of Goodwill the Amity Group.Goodwill Employment Solutions is an NFP contracted by the Ontario government to help unemployed individuals in Halton Region (and Hamilton-Brant) find employment. We function much like an outplacement agency, except we are free and very proactive in the job search. Our professional services, free for our job seeker clients, are also free for employers who include us as a recruitment channel in their search for qualified employees. We are able to offer employers access to a constantly changing pool of motivated, screened and job-ready persons for virtually all levels of all positions in all business sectors. Employers need only to post their job requirements with us. These job orders are issued to all of our career counselors and posted on our website and office job boards in our Oakville, Burlington and Milton/Georgetown locations, as well as Hamilton. Employers receive only pre-screened resumes for applicants considered to be a relevant fit to the job specifications. There is no obligation to hire, or even to interview, our candidates. Also, we coordinate Employment Ontarios Targeted Wage Subsidy (TWS) program for eligible adult job seekers in Halton Region. TWS assists employers to hire individuals who are on or have been receiving Employment Insurance.
