• Dana is the owner of Beautiful Brides Philly, an on-site hair & makeup company for brides. In Dec 2011, BBP was named Fox Small Business Centers Small Business of the Day. Today it is the largest on-location bridal beauty company in Philadelphia, serving 120+ clients/yr.. In 2016 Dana launched Beauty on Demand, a luxury on-location hair & makeup company for non-bridal clients.Dana graduated cum laude from Rutgers University with a BA in English and is an accomplished business professional with 25+ years of corporate communications, marketing, writing, & PR experience. Companies include The Economist, Sunoco, Al Paul Lefton PR and BOYDS Clothiers. Dana attended Jean Madeline Institute to explore her passion for beauty and received a license in esthetics. Dana was a makeup artist for NBCs 10! Show and a lead artist with Philadelphia Fashion Week. She has worked with HDNets concert series, working with Gavin Rossdale & Bush as well as Ted Nugent. Heather Blaine Mitts, an American former professional soccer defender & a 3-time Olympic gold medalist was also one of Dana's clients.Dana is a writer with articles online & in print (Career Builder, LovetoKnow, The Street, CNN, WebMD, PhillyMag, Legal Intelligencer, Press of AC, S. Philly Review). She's been featured in interviews on NPR & Brandywine Radios Chamber Chatter.Dana is the founder of The Womens Image Project,which emphasizes personal empowerment, grooming, dressing, & interviewing. Focusing on the re-entry of ex offenders,she has conducted workshops for the Phila Prison System (Riverside Correctional Facility & Alternative Services Division) along with half-way homes in Camden and Phila. Dana received the Volunteer of the Yr Award 2008 awarded by Prison Commissioner, Louis Giorla. She is now exploring bringing this program to female veterans.Dana served as board member for Women Against Abuse & The Career Wardrobe. In 2006, Dana visited Mississippi to assist victims of Hurricane Katrina.
