- ROC Wheels is a faith based, 501(c)(3) organization in Bozeman, Montana. ROC Wheels provides therapeutic, pediatric wheelchairs and mobility devices to disabled children and young adults in developing, poorly resourced countries. Distributions have included Mexico, Honduras, Jamaica, Kenya, Russia, Viet Nam, Peru, Morocco, Iraq, Afghanistan, the Ukraine and more, and account for some 8,000 wheelchairs, specialized walkers and other devices. We have very strong partnerships with Hope Haven International Ministries, and with organizations in-country. Our YEWTHS ROC (Youth Empowered With The Helper Spirit Reach Out and Care) trains school students to assemble the wheelchairs and make wheelchair dolls, accessory bags, bracelets, necklaces and other items, and teaches them about disabilities, cultural awareness, entrepreneurship, reaching out, empowerment (you CAN make a difference in the world) and more. Mobility amplifies the voice of the disabled, and raises self esteem, improves family life, and gives the disabled child access to education, community and country.
