Greenbridge Computing, Inc.

Description

• GreenBridge Computings vision and mission is to sustainably bridge the digital divide for millions of students by connecting schools and libraries with affordable technology. As a triple-bottom-line social enterprise, we deliver value to our shareholders, the communities we serve, and our planet. We do this by creating affordable technology access, reducing energy use, and donating the equivalent of 5% of our profits to schools in developing countries. There are an estimated 15.5 million PCs in schools and libraries in the US alone a $9 billion addressable market. Instead of purchasing and managing 10 PCs, an organization can now buy one single PC that can support 10 workstations, each with its own monitor, mouse, and keyboard, and each with its own independent computing environment. GreenBridge is focused exclusively on the education market, with a high-performing, low cost, all-in-one solution (hardware, software, and services) that stretches IT budgets and provides a one-stop computing solution for schools and libraries.-Problem: Organizations struggle to afford computing. The global economic crisis has exacerbated this problem.-Opportunity: Using one single PC, up to ten users can connect to the same host computer each with their own monitor, mouse, and keyboard each with a completely independent and secure Windows computing experience.-Benefits: 50% acquisition cost reduction; 80% power reduction; 90% IT maintenance cost reduction
