• Florence Crittenton Services is a Denver-based nonprofit that educates, prepares, and empowers teen mothers to become productive members of the community. It is the community's prime provider of academic and supportive services-comprehensive and multi-generational in scope-for vulnerable youth: teen mothers and their children. A triad of programs gives opportunities to students at the highest risk of school failure and dropout for charting a course to a brighter, healthier, and more prosperous future: the Florence Crittenton High School, the Early Childhood Education Center, and the Student and Family Support Program. The High School delivers 9-12 grade academics, after-school tutoring, financial literacy, and post-secondary transition readiness to teen mothers. Meanwhile, the on-site, licensed Early Childhood Education Center addresses the education and care needs of their infant and toddler children. The Student and Family Support Program delivers targeted, wraparound services to teen moms, young fathers, and extended family members. On average, each year we serve over 241 pregnant and teen mothers, 130 infant and toddler children and over 300 young fathers and extended family members.
