    Description

    • At kSep Systems, we leverage our innovation, engineering, and cGMP manufacturing expertise to produce robust and automated single-use bioprocessing solutions for our clients in the areas of recombinant therapeutics, cell therapy, and vaccines manufacturing. kSep's underlying technology was originally developed and applied by Dr. Heath Herman of KBI Biopharma, who suffered with Muscular Dystrophy and passed away in 2006. The original technology was redesigned and transformed into fully automated single-use centrifugation solution as the kSep technology. Since KBI Biopharma's mission is to provide biopharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing services, kSep Systems, LLC, was setup in 2011 as a spinoff to commercialize the kSep technology. After the purchase of KBI Biopharma by JSR in 2015, kSep Systems has been operating independently with its continued support from original KBI investors.
