- Our 100+ acre hops farm, located in Johnson County, Iowa, began commercial production in 2015 and growing strong! On site, Buck Creek Hops has a state-of-the-art processing & packaging facility on site, to include a large Wolfe harvester and Buskirk pellet mill specially designed for properly retaining all essential oils & lupulin to deliver the best product for brewers! We pride ourselves on our background knowledge in agriculture. We even have an expert master brewer on staff, as well as a panel of brewing consultants to allow us to provide you the BEST hops for your delicious brews. Buck Creek Hops currently has seven varieties of hops: Cascade, Chinook, Centennial, Mt Hood, Nugget, Sorachi Ace and Columbus. These varieties were carefully chosen to allow your brewery a choice of our freshest selection. Fresh hops will be available each harvest season, as well as packaged, pelleted hops after processing.
