• Since 1982, Southern Dance Theatre has offered dance classes for students of all levels, ages 3 & up. A recognized leader in dance education.Serving Palm Beach County, Florida, we offer classes in ballet, pointe, contemporary, modern, jazz, hip hop, tap, Zumba, private lessons, and prep for BAK and Dreyfoos School of the Arts dance auditions. Classes are held in our state-of-the-art facility. Our experience covers students from beginner to pre-professional as demonstrated by our student graduates that have gone on to professional companies and centers of higher education, such as The Juilliard School in New York City.Southern Dance Theatre is proud to include the AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE® National Training Curriculum, a breakthrough 8 level program that combines high quality artistic training with the basics of dancer health and child development. The ABT® National Training Curriculum consists of a comprehensive set of age-appropriate, outcome-based guidelines to provide the highest quality ballet training to dance students of all ages and skill levels. Primary through Level 7 will be taught by ABT® Certified Teacher, Julie Bravata, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Primary through Level 7 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum.Southern Dance Theatre is the only dance school in the area that offers a Dance Movement program to special population students.Home of The Dancer's Edge Company and Special Arts Ensemble performing arts groups.
