Per Diems Against Poverty

Description

• IN A NUTSHELL: More than 46 million Americans suffer from food insecurity. Thats 1 in 7. Millions of other Americans, including professional athletes, entertainers, and business leaders, regularly receive per diems, also known as meal allowances, while traveling. Many do not depend on these per diem funds to afford food. Per Diems Against Poverty reallocates these per diems to Feeding America, the nations largest non-profit fighting domestic hunger. OUR MISSION: Per Diems Against Poverty reallocates donated per diems to Americans struggling with food insecurity. OUR VISION: Were fighting for the day when no American goes hungry. CORE VALUES: Integrity, Frugality, Compassion, Transparency, Optimism, and Commitment. OUR PARTNER: In order to do as much good as possible, we partnered with Feeding America shortly after our incorporation in May 2015. All donated per diems will service 200 food banks and 60,000 food pantries and meals programs in every county in America. Because of Feeding Americas resources and infrastructure, every $1 helps provide 10 meals to families in need. GIVING STATEMENT: 100% of donated per diems are given to Feeding America. This is not the goal; this is the guarantee.
