- Omniprobe, Inc., a world leader in FIB and SEM accessories enabling nano-lab capabilities, was acquired by Oxford Instruments in 2011. In 2015, full integration was implemented with design and manufacturing moving from Dallas to High Wycombe, UK. Products include nanomanipulation solutions for electrical/mechanical testing and sample preparation, as well as a multi-gas injector system for deposition and etching in the SEM or FIB. The original flagship product, arising from a Texas Instruments research project, is the OmniProbe nanomanipulator for TEM sample prep via the in situ lift-out method.
