Hesperos Inc.

Description

• Hesperos aims to optimally characterize individual human biology through innovative human body-on-a-chip technology for toxicological and efficacy testing. This is an ambitious goal, but success will radically reduce the cost of analysis and help predict an individual's response to new compounds. Since the 1990's our scientific team has led the effort to characterize individual's biology with body-on-a-chip systems. We have been at the forefront of every major scientific discovery in this realm which has spanned the fields of nano science, computational modeling, biomedical engineering, physiology, cell biology and surface chemistry. There is no limit to what we can do within these systems, as our team develops new, more advanced ways to model and characterize tissue and organ types. Soon we will be able to extrapolate even more from the complexity with which cells are programmed to respond when working together in a unified system, as we integrate more of the organs of the human body onto a single chip. In Greek Mythology, Hesperos is the name for the planet Venus in the evening sky, the most splendid star in the heavens.a unique name chosen for a company that celebrates the value of individuals.
