- WFT Engineering, Inc. is an award winning, minority owned, small business firm providing engineering services throughout the Mid Atlantic region to clients in virtually every sector. Founded in 1995, our dynamic team of engineers and designers provides mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and fire alarm planning, design, commissioning, and construction administration services for projects varying from small task order renovations to new construction of multi-million dollar research facilities. Our diverse portfolio includes commercial interiors, higher education residence halls, athletic facilities, and research facilities, laboratories and medical centers, government offices, SCIFs and data centers, mixed use developments, SCUPs, and performing arts centers, to name a few. Whatever the size and scope of the project, our goals are timely responsiveness, strong work ethic, same point of contact throughout the project, and to go above and beyond the expectations of the client. This philosophy has helped earn the respect of clients and has led to long term relationships. Our design teams incorporate sustainable design practices as a mindset, not just a process, utilizing a design approach that seeks to maximize building effectiveness within its function while minimizing the environmental impact wherever possible. Our use of Revit modeling provides clients visuals of building components and a better understanding of concepts during the design phase.
