In 1968 the couple incorporated Robertson Forwarding Company in New York to fill a void in the field of international distribution.In the early 1990s Joan Robertson recognized a need to make a strategic change to keep RFC on the cutting edge of the global logistics field; Hence in 1992 RFC opened its doors in the emerging port of Miami, FL.I witnessed the change in the economic landscape of the import/export business and the rapid development of US distribution from the South Florida area. In the 90s it became of paramount importance for a shipper to have a strong presence in the Miami area.-Joan RobertsonRFCs locations allow optimal service to Central/South America, the Caribbean, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia. We have strategically placed agents through-out the world, to facilitate the effective and timely movement of freight to even the most complex shipping destinations.
