- In 2015, a small group of friends came together one evening over a novel idea: to have a fancy fundraiser where the goal was to raise awareness instead of money. We listened to three powerful stories and promised to advocate for these issues by standing up to hate, ignorance, and misinformation. Listen for a Change has grown into a 501(c)(3) born out of this need from the Bay Area community to feel connected to social issues impacting us firsthand. Come join us on the 4th Thursday of each month as we listen to three new powerful, personal stories. No PowerPoints. No scripts. Just storytelling on a mission. Admission is free and will always be free. Tickets are released a week before each event date.
