• Donate Cars 4 Wishes is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit car donation program established to benefit local vocational education programs as well as the Make-A-Wish® Connecticut. Make-A-Wish® Connecticut has granted over 2,500 wishes since its inception with the cost of a wish in Connecticut averaging about $10,000. This is your chance to be an everyday hero by helping to grant wishes for children in Connecticut. Every vehicle donation, regardless of condition, brings us a step closer to helping out another child. This is your chance to be an everyday hero by helping give back to the children here in Connecticut. In order to qualify for a wish, a child with a life threatening medical condition must be at least 2 ½ years old and younger than 18 (at time of referral) and must not have received a wish for any other organization in the past. The child may be referred by themselves, a medical professional, guardian, or other family member with knowledge of their condition. After the referral, a certified medical professional must verify that the child does have a life threatening medical condition. There is no qualification based on religion, race, sex or any other demographic category. The vehicles we receive are either auctioned to new owners or recycled. The proceeds from all sales will all remain in Connecticut to benefit the Make-A-Wish® Connecticut chapter and local vocational training.
