• Barcelona Soccer Academy was founded in Lake Mary, FL in 2015. BSA is Central Floridas youth academy that takes a European approach to soccer and emphasizes passing Tiki-Taka, movement on the field, speed and most important creativity. A formula that has been successful with top clubs like FC Barcelona.The academy is owned and operated by a Barcelona native with over 30 years of coaching experience that coached such teams as, Gimnastic de Tarragona. A second division pro Spanish club.METHODOLOGYThe European Way is more than just trying to emulate the skills that the players of the best teams in the Champions League show us. Of course, emphasis is on developing a soccer imaginative, entertaining, and skillful but next to this there is a disciplinary approach to education, the physiological aspects, nutritional, and the psychological of the game.Methodology of our trainings are specially formulated to incorporate the thoughts and ideas that are currently being used in Europe. In all our training sessions we emphasize the pass, movement and speed. This is accompanied by encouraging players to think constantly about the challenges that soccer presents them and how to overcome them effectively. This is why many of our exercises are designed to stimulate the cognitive development of our players. BSA is a private company, it does not represent anyway FC Barcelona.
