• OUR MISSION: In two words, SOSOADAE's mission is better fiction. In nine words (or more) our mission is to be an institution for story literacy and Black imagination. We'll accomplish this by marrying tradition with tech-motivated solutions that also make writers happy. As a charitable for-profit, SOSO ADAE, L3C proceeds support our present initiatives, SOSOADAE and THE SOSO ADAE BAR, in addition to other literary, educational, and social entrepreneurship initiatives in line with our mission and values. SOSOADAE's mobile workshops for phone and tablet advance the conversation of story while providing the right balance of technical convenience and social integration without interfering with the tactile creative space necessary for writers doing serious work. As a veteran-owned business, SOSO ADAE, L3C also supports initiatives serving veteran interests and primarily those relevant to homelessness and traumatic stress injuries suffered by women in service. RELEVANCE: In addition to articulating and supporting a formal editing culture for the black aesthetic, providing sound foundational skills for writers, and a publishing solution that supports the trend toward self-publishing, SOSO ADAE, L3C products address the need for racial diversity in literature by presenting an other aesthetic center and an imagination for the terms of other art and other experience that is more than skin deep.
