- The Dranoff is the presenter of one of the most prestigious international duo piano competition in the world.Our laureates and winners play in all the major concert venues.We regularly commission new works by contemporary composers such as John Corigliano, Ned Rorem, Richard Rodney Bennett, William Bolcom and many others who are academy award nominees and winners.Further, we present our artists in concert, and in a public outreach program called Piano Slam which combines music and poetry.We are the only international competition dedicated to duo pianism which is accredited by the World Federation Of International Music Competitions (in Geneva, Switzerland).
