- HerStory, Inc. is in the process of becoming a 24/7 emergency transitional housing program for women, ages 18-30, who are seeking healing from both trauma and substance abuse. It is a two part program. The first part is emergency housing, which can house up to 3 women at a time. After detox, it is in this home where women will be connected with different treatment options within the community. The second home is the after care recovery home. Women will come here after they exit inpatient treatment and will be supported as they transition back into the community. Length of stay in the both houses will be different for each resident and will depend on their specific needs.
