- The Excellence in Investing for Childrens Causes Foundation presents the Sohn Conference San Francisco each October. The conference is the premiere Bay Area investor event bringing together top investors and other prominent thinkers to share their investment ideas and insights.The conference proceeds support Bay Area organizations focused on improving educational opportunities and life outcomes for underserved youth. A portion of the proceeds also benefit our partner, The Sohn Conference Foundation in their dedicated efforts towards the treatment and cure of pediatric cancer and related childhood diseases. The conference was inspired by and is patterned after the Sohn Investment Research Conference. The two principals of the Excellence in Investing for Childrens Causes Foundation are Patrick Wolff and Jack Selby, who work together at an investment firm in San Francisco. Over the years they discovered a shared passion for improving education, and decided to combine their professional and non-profit avocations.
