• BlackRidge Resource Partners LLC is an independent exploration company formed in 2011 to pursue energy opportunities in the United States. Headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky, we are largely focused on the Illinois Basin in Kentucky and Illinois. We have demonstrated success in identifying prospective areas, developing geological analysis, acquiring properties, and executing strategies to create value. The BlackRidge team has extensive operating experience and strong relationships among the oil and gas community in the United States, giving us competitive advantages in developing resources and achieving strong growth and financial returns on a long-term basis.BlackRidge initiated operations in the Illinois Basin in early 2013 when we drilled a successful Lower Mississippian Lime well in southern Illinois. In addition to our Lower Mississippian Lime play, we have conducted significant geological and geophysical analysis targeting Silurian reef and reef induced structures as part of a 10-well project in south-central Illinois.In the Utica Shale, BlackRidge has successfully coordinated and executed transactions totaling approximately 33,000 acres. In the process, BlackRidges industry partners have ranged from small private producers to a NASDAQ-listed independent.Our Managing Partners have worked together 20 years, having formed and built NGAS Resources, Inc. At the time of its merger with a NYSE-listed company in 2011, NGASs assets included 350,000 acres of leasehold, interests in 1,400 oil and gas wells, and two natural gas utilities. NGAS built over 500 miles of natural gas gathering systems over its history. In 2011, Global Hunter Securities recognized NGAS in its 2011 Finding & Development Cost Study as the company with the lowest drillbit F&D cost per BOE in 2010, as well as on its three- and five-year basis studies. NGAS was listed on the NASDAQ Global Select Market.
