A Little History: The original M&C was founded in 1924 by Mr. Murphy and Mr. Cota, Sr. At that time the firm was in the business of marketing electronic parts to wholesale distributors. The firm evolved throughout the years to become more systems oriented, servicing companies at the distributor and integrator levels. In 1986 Russ Moore was hired by the firm as it strengthened its position in the ProAudio and emerging CCTV markets. In 1997 the firm was purchased by the Moores from Jack Cota, Jr. and the name of Murphy and Cota, Inc. was modified to Murphy & Cota with the corporate identity of Moore Technical Marketing, Inc. In 2002 Lori Carter became a partner in the business and in nine short years M&C will celebrate it's 100th birthday!
