While under hospice care, one of his close family members didnt receive the medications he needed while actively dying and unfortunately passed while experiencing excessive pain. This was a direct result of a communication breakdown between the hospice and the pharmacy. It was clear there needed to be a better way. And so HospiceMed was founded with the objective of improving patient care by providing nurses, physicians, administrators, and pharmacies with industry leading tools, technology, and customer service.
