- With a team of like-minded, Louisiana-based, artistic and visionary professionals from the Marketing/PR, Beauty, Fashion, and Entertainment Industries, the inaugural NOLA Fashion Week (NOLAFW) will hit the scene in March of 2011.Through NOLAFW, the team aims to create opportunity and exposure for both established and up-and-coming Southern based (or born) designers to showcase their talent, while making an economic and artistic impact on the fashion industry. Their secondary goal is to promote New Orleans as the artistic and fashion-forward venue perfect for editorial coverage that it already is. By highlighting the rebirth of the city, all of its amenities and culture, they are helping to put New Orleans on the map as a destination for global Fashion, Entertainment, and Art industry events.
