(APT) is a licensed, privately owned recruiting firm, specializing in professional search and placement for CPAs and Accountants in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina - founded in 1991. APT is also a licensed TEMPORARY SERVICE, providing experienced CPAs, accountants, accounting clerks and support staff for contract or temporary assignments. Because we thoroughly screen and reference check candidates to assure that you will interview only well-qualified individuals who meet your company's specific requirements -- technical, experience, education and personality-- we have a legacy of many satisfied, repeat customers. Dawson Nesbitt, President (BA, Vanderbilt University), established Accounting Personnel in 1991 and has 35 years of experience in permanent and temporary accounting search and placement. Tyler Newkirk, Recruiter (BS Campbell University) has ten years of business experience working with BB&T and Piedmont Trust, building relationships with customers, clients, and prospects. Tyler joined APT in 2015. Along with helping companies find, interview and hire just the right candidate for each unique position, Dawson enjoys playing golf, working on the planning team for the annual Young Life Golf Classic (24 years), and hiking with friends on the Appalachian Trail (265 miles in TN, NC and GA) as a fund-raiser for Amani Children's Foundation (www.amanichildren.org)
