    • MCVET provides the Home, the Hope and the Help our homeless veterans need to rejoin society with dignity as employed, responsible citizens.Home is a 110,000 sq. ft. building at 301 North High Street, directly behind the main Post Office on Fayette Street. On three floors live platoons of 40 veterans, divided into squads of 10. All agree to live by simple, communal rules and to participate fully in the community.Hope comes from learning and re-learning skills. Each resident negotiates and implements an individual action plan that specifies action steps for health, recovery, education, employment, etc. These plans are unique to each veterans unique needs with the ultimate goal of reintegrating into society.Help comes from the vast array of direct services available at MCVET. These on and off site services include case management, benefits support, employment support, addiction and recovery services and mental and physical health. At MCVET our mission is:To provide homeless veterans and other veterans in need with comprehensive services that will enable them to rejoin their communities as productive citizens.
