The company was established to deliver a new approach to professional development, leadership training, and education. Our company was founded by Dr. Dean Aslinia, an Adlerian trained and orientated mental health professional and licensed psychotherapist. Dr. Dean with more than 10 years of graduate (Masters and Ph.D.) level teaching experience, realized his most effective and rewarding courses were those that were led by his students. He would provide them with a series of high level choices in determining the topics or discussions that would enhance their learning and to put the knowledge into practical context. The takeaway after a decade to such teaching experience led to the discovery that students and clients that lead their own learning and are able to customize the training agenda, not only take away so much more from the trainings, but also, retain the information for much longer durations. The Adlerian connection and importance in Dr. Deans training connected his teaching philosophies with the theoretical viewpoints of Adlerian Psychology (also known as Individual Psychology) on the world. An Adlerian trained psychotherapist, in short views a person as a holistic individual, meaning that in order to understand a persons true psyche one must recognize that they are embedded in the environment and society in which they live.
