• The Affordable Housing Association of Indiana (AHAIN) was founded in 1983 for the purpose of providing representation and resource sharing to the affordable rental housing community. Over the years, we have developed strategic partnerships with the many agencies that govern this industry to include: Rural Housing Service (RHS), Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA), Department of the Treasury, and Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD). As a CARH state affiliated association, we effectively communicate the views and concerns of our members before Congress and other appropriate officials.Our membership includes a diverse network of Accountants, Attorneys, Developers, Management Agents, Syndicators, and many more. We are also represented by an impressive group of associate members consisting of vendors and suppliers to our industry.Your financial support is essential to our continued success. Annual dues are used to bring top-rated trainers to our members at discounted rates. The funds strengthen our ability to represent the interests of our members before groups that have regulatory control over the housing programs. It ensures continuation of the AHAIN Scholarship Program which provides college scholarships to eligible residents of AHAIN-member properties.
