- A nonprofit, faith-based organization, the Samaritan Counseling Center of Western PA provides professional psychological counseling for all people seeking help, regardless of age, gender, religion, race, ethnic background, disability or inability to pay. Our goal is to empower hurting people to gain hope, healing and the skills to overcome crises in their lives. Furthermore, our services help men, women and children to achieve health, well-being and balance in all aspects of their lives--mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually.Samaritan's therapists have attained a minimum of one Masters degree and are credentialed, state licensed providers. Serving over 3,500 community residents annually, Samaritan operates 10 offices located throughout Allegheny, Beaver and Butler Counties.I am very thankful for our clinical team at Samaritan, shares Carl Baughman, Executive Director and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. In addition to being tremendously skilled, highly qualified men and women, Samaritan's counselors are compassionate and devoted to their work.
