- STAR (Sports Therapy And Rehabilitation) is a nationally recognized, premier practice that provides patients with the highest quality hands on care. Our state of the art facility has Board Certified Specialists in Sports, Orthopedics and Hand Therapy. STAR has Certified Manual Therapists, Active Release Technique, TPI Golf, Strength & Conditioning and Credentialed Advanced Hip Clinicians. We serve as a Team Physical Therapist for the USA Eagles Men's National Rugby Team and the NYAC National Championship Rugby Team. We've cared for Olympians and numerous professional athletes: NHL, NFL, NBA, MLB, MLL, Tennis and Dance. We've created many protocols used in Hip Preservation Rehabilitation and our experience includes affiliations with some of the country's best physicians and hospitals. Our cutting edge equipment sets STAR apart from other practices in NYC. Our AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill (with NASA technology) and Biodex neuromuscular evaluator are two examples. We personalize each patient's program based on their need. We're published in the renowned medical textbook, The Athlete's Shoulder, as well as in various studies and research.
