• One of the largest free-standing behavioral health providers in the United States, Pine Rest offers a full continuum of behavioral health services. A nonprofit founded in 1910, its comprehensive behavioral health center located in Grand Rapids, Michigan offers inpatient, partial hospitalization, assessment and testing, residential, addiction treatment, brain stimulation therapy, forensic psychiatry & psychology, and specialty services such as crisis response, employee assistance programs, community outreach and more. The outpatient network includes 18 offices in Michigan and Iowa, providing individualized and group therapy for people of all ages and all levels of need. Our dedicated team of 1,800 professionals includes 700+ doctors, nurses and clinicians. Pine Rest is a partner in a joint operating agreement with Saint Marys Health Care (Grand Rapids) and Metro Health (Grand Rapids). Pine Rest is also a member of the Spectrum Health Regional Network.Our educational programming includes... psychiatry residency and fellowships in child & adolescent, addiction and geriatric psychiatry, PA training, postdoctoral fellowship in clinical psychology, psychology internships and rotations for visiting residents, med students, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and pharmacy students. Since 1970, Pine Rests CPE program has served over 1,000 seminarians, pastors, chaplains, and parish nurses.
