Hollis Interiors approaches projects with the thought, Think Green Inside.Every client has a vision. Hollis Interiors interprets the client's unique style with a vision for inspired living that includes the benefits of green design. The firm combines creativity with a collaborative, flexible approach with clients. The studio's attention to details continually builds client confidence and assures a seamless, easy design process. Hollie Sutherland, ASID and LEED AP, owner of Hollis Interiors believes Green and beauty are one and the same. She combines fifteen years of design experience and ten years of marketing experience with a degree in design from the prestigious New York School of Interior Design and a BA from Hamilton College. Most recently, she achieved the highly regarded LEED AP designation from the US Green Building Council. She is a professional member of ASID, is an ASID Board Member for the Connecticut chapter for the 2006-2008 term, and chaired the Legislative and Ethics Committee for the Connecticut chapter. Additionally, Hollie is a member of the Connecticut Coalition of Interior Designers, serves on the town of Fairfield's Zoning Board of Appeals for 2005-2009 term and is a Board Member of the Fairfield Christmas Tree Festival, an independent fundraising organization benefiting local community organizations. Prior to founding Hollis Interiors, Hollie worked for Stirling Design, Buchanan Design and Banks Design in various interior design capacities. In addition, her marketing experience includes working for several firms including Bloomingdale's By Mail.
