Moore Supply Co.

Description

• The Moore Supply Company was founded in 1953 in Conroe, Texas and has grown to over 40 locations in the state. The company supplies plumbing and related products to contractors, builders, designers, remodelers, municipalities, universities, retailers, industrial end-users, consumers and other niche markets. Moore Supply is part of the Hajoca Corporation, the second largest plumbing distribution company in North America. Headquartered in Ardmore, PA, Hajoca was founded in Philadelphia in 1858 and is privately held. Today, the company has over 600 locations in 40 states and serves customers across the US. A simple business philosophy is responsible for Hajoca's success - combining the strength and power of a large company with freedom and opportunity for its associates. Hajoca associates are rewarded with a share of the profits made in their profit center and the decentralized culture provides each manager with the same high degree of responsibility, autonomy and accountability as an owner. Most Hajoca locations operate under the names they had at the time they were acquired by the Company. Hajoca believes this approach preserves the local identity, people and the business approach that its customers have come to know and value.
