- Options for Community Living, Inc. is a community based not-for-profit organization established in 1982 to serve Long Islanders in need. Through housing programs and case management services, we prepare participants for the demands of community life; promote housing permanency; and foster individual health, safety, and welfare. Our programs are specialized to serve individuals with psychiatric disabilities and other serious chronic illnesses including HIV/AIDS. Options served more than 1,500 adults and children on Long Island last year. In 2016, the organization was chosen by SmartCEO to receive a Corporate Culture Award. This awards program honors companies that foster a creative, collaborative workplace culture to enhance performance and sustain a competitive advantage.
