    • Empowering homeless women, children & families to reclaim their lives! Marys Place provides a welcoming and safe environment where women, families, and children experiencing homelessness can build community and find resources and support to find permanent housing. Our staff includes formerly homeless women whose leadership provides inspiration and hope.Mary's Place began as a day center for homeless women in 1999 and has grown to meet the increasing need in our community. Today, we operate four day centers and seven family shelters providing a safe place and resources for more than 400 family members - moms, dads, and children.Resources are offered for employment, housing, and financial needs. Discussion groups, classes, and on-site services provided by more than 40 local nonprofit organizations contribute to physical and emotional health. Kids Club and other activities provide fun and community-building: arts and crafts, book groups, games, and singing are a few examples.We do this with the support of the community!
