• Aerobiology Laboratory Associates, Inc. is a woman owned, privately held environmental testing laboratory with expertise in microbiology and asbestos testing. Our laboratory is twenty years old and our expertise in the microbial testing aspects of indoor air quality has evolved and help shape the indoor air quality industry. This expertise includes bacterial and fungal testing and both environmental and clinical applications of the investigation as well as asbestos analysis. We have a national presence with six fully AIHA-LAP, LLC accredited laboratories in the Washington, D.C. area, Atlanta, Georgia, Denver, Colorado, Pennsauken, New Jersey, Los Angeles, California and Phoenix, Arizona. These locations allow for excellent coverage of the country in terms of technical laboratory services in addition to being responsive and available for our clients.Aerobiology Laboratory Associates is accredited under the Environmental Microbiology Laboratory Accreditation Program (EMLAP). Accreditation demonstrates compliance with ISO 17025 General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories. EMLAP accredits laboratories in identifying bacteria and fungi commonly detected in air, fluids, and bulk samples during indoor air quality studies. There is a mandatory proficiency program, both external and internal.
