    • Nonesuch Oysters is an award-winning, eco-friendly, oyster farm located within a nature conservancy at Nonesuch Point in Scarborough, just south of Portland. Our Scarborough River is one of few in Maine to boast a Grade A water classification due to its outstanding natural resource waters. That's why we have such great-tasting, healthy oysters!Already one of Maine's favorites, Nonesuch Oysters are gaining fame nationwide for their bright, fresh, salty-sweet flavor with a delicate grassy undertone.Maine-native Abigail Carroll, and her team of young marine science enthusiasts, grow American (crassostrea virginica) and European Flat (edulis, otherwise known as Bélon) varieties using traditional, environmentally-safe, grow-out methods.Nonesuch Oysters have been showcased on the menu at New Yorks celebrated James Beard House and the Grand Central Oyster Bar.
