    Description

    • Evanson Asset Management (EAM) offers low-cost fixed quarterly retainer fees and specializes in index and passive investment management. EAM derives its investment strategy from Modern Portfolio Theory, and makes use of Dimensional Fund Advisors (DFA), Vanguard, and ETF funds, as well as cash equivalents, maturity laddered bond portfolios and individual securities. EAM is a registered investment advisor with the Securities and Exchange Commission and manages over $3.5 billion in assets as of Spring 2015. We have pioneered and promoted low fixed quarterly retainer fees since 1995. Typical fees range between $625/quarter and $2000/quarter. Our recommended account minimum is $500,000, although exceptions may be made. EAM has been ranked within the top 100 US advisory firms by Forbes, Bloomberg and Investment News and in January 2015 Bloomberg ranked EAM as #3 out of the top 50 US RIA firms. Rankings are based on growth and assets under management, not returns. We custody assets at Schwab, TDAmeritrade, Fidelity, and Jefferson.
