Homeroom Mac + Cheese

Description

• Homeroom is a restaurant dedicated to the best food on earth: macaroni and cheese. Its amazing to think that we started out with a staff of only twelve. Today, our incredible team serves up over 5,000 macs each week; weve got thirteen different varieties of mac available on any given day, as well as local beer and wine pairings and homemade desserts like oreos and peanut butter pie. Homeroom has come a long way in the last few years! We now have Homeroom To Go, open down the block from the restaurant. Come by and youll find beer and wine, hot sauces, cookbooks and other fun things to take home, in addition to our new Take-and-Bake line of take-home macs. Or, place your order online and well bring your food out to your car so you dont have to park! Well also very involved in the awesome Oakland community that we love so much. Whether its hosting a Prom Night for children in Kaisers Oncology Unit or throwing a Gluten-Free party for people with Celiac, well proud of the contributions were able to make to the great people of Oakland and the East Bay. And, most importantly, weve become a great place to work. Allison Arevalo and Erin Wade opened Homeroom not only to follow their dream of owning a restaurant, but also to create a work environment that they always wished they had. One of our primary goals was to create a work environment where people not only loved coming in every day, but where they could learn, grow, and be empowered to help shape the future of the company. All of our employees earn a livable wage, and receive awesome benefits like health care, paid educational opportunities, and many paths for growth within the company. Homeroom has evolved from a small mac and cheese shop into a Bay Area destination: A place people come to celebrate, to work, to make memories, to learn, and most of all, to experience the best mac and cheese theyve ever had.
