• Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County is the local workforce board and provides services to job seekers and employers - as a resource for employers to access the quality employees they need, and training individuals to be successfully employed. Workforce Solutions administers a broad range of programs to address local workforce issues with business-directed objectives, including job training, workplace education, child care and educational initiatives to provide the necessary support for every citizen of Tarrant County to be successful at work. A 29 member Board made up of business and community leaders chaired by Keith Muskrat of Talon Industries Inc. works in partnership with the Workforce Governing Board (WGB), which is composed of Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price, Arlington Mayor Robert Cluck and Tarrant County Judge Glen Whitley to oversee Workforce Services in Tarrant County.
