Get Full AccessDescription
- Africa Windmill Project enables Families to End Hunger by teaching them how to Grow Food. Africa Windmill Project works with small holder farmers to organized and self-operate agriculture clubs. Through these clubs families are able to receive trainings to teach them about sustainable agriculture, community development, farm management, financial management and health. Families are equipped with education and empowered by the support of Africa Windmill Project. We currently have an office in Lilongwe, Malawi. At the end of 2013 we decided that it was time to open an additional office in Kondoa, Tanzania. Africa Windmill Project will begin trainings in Tanzania at the invitation of the Kondoa Diocese of the Anglican Church of Tanzania as their director of development. Our first project will be to relieve the water crisis in the two most dire areas by installing a community well available to all free of charge. The second project will be to reach about 600,000 people living in this district by teaching them to End their Hunger by Growing Food for themselves!
