- Founded in 2005, the Main Street Alliance is a national network of small business coalitions working in 16 states to build a new voice for small businesses on health care, financial reform, and other national and local issues.Alliance small business owners share a vision of health care that works for business owners, our employees, and the economy. The Alliance creates opportunities for small business owners to speak for themselves about health care and other issues, and how to fix them. Our growing network includes small business coalitions in 16 states. Learn more about our state partners by visiting our website.The Main Street Alliance is governed by a National Advisory Council of small business owners. The National Advisory Council currently has 25 business owners who are members of the Alliances core state coalitions. The Advisory Council identifies priorities, establishes MSA positions, and provides direction and guidance for our work at the national level.
