LifeFlo is a company with a vision of providing potentially life saving oxygen to anyone experiencing an emergency or health challenging event. Up to now oxygen has been available for use in the non clinical setting but in most cases too expensive or complicated or both. Lifeflo's technology ensures that every person, anytime or anywhere can simply and affordably have oxygen nearby and ready to use. We are releasing 3 products - Lifeflo OTC Emergency Oxygen (no Rx required), Lifeflo Rx2.0 Supplemental Oxygen (Rx required) and Lifeflo Rx1.0 Newborn Oxygen. All products have been cleared for marketing by the FDA 510K process. The OTC Emergency category allows for the delivery of 99% oxygen by laypersons during any emergency without a prescription. The product is designed to deliver oxygen at a rate of 6 lpm for 15 minutes. We call this the Bridge to Life as the average EMS response time in the US is 12-15 minutes. The Rx2.0 Supplemental category is targeted at providing the worlds first oxygen pill to relieve occasional dyspnea experienced by asthmatics, COPD patients - late and early stage and others with breathing disorders. The physician simply writes a prescription for supplemental oxygen at 2lpm for 45 minutes with Lifeflo device as needed. The applications for this device are wide and varied and could change the way we look and deliver oxygen. The Rx1.0 Newborn device is targeted at the millions of newborns who die at birth in the remote reaches of the planet simple because medical oxygen is not available. A recent statement by WHO Oxygen is a WHO essential drug that is hugely influential in reducing child mortality by up to 35%. Oxygen is indicated in all of the top six causes of childhood mortality, particularly pneumonia. We will be partnering with NGOs to deliver this life saving technology.
