- Life Sail Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing underserved and at-risk youth with character-building programs through the arts of sailing and seamanship.Life Sail was founded in 2003 by professional sailor Matt Schulz and since that time, has been providing programs in small boat and keelboat sailing to Los Angeles area youth. Programs include weekly courses in sailing and boat building as well as weekend trips to Catalina island on keelboats. Over the course of Life Sail's history, over 1,000 children have been through Life Sail's programs, developing skills in teamwork, leadership, boat-building and sailing.
