- HemoGenix® is a contract service and assay development laboratory based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA. Specializing in predictive in vitro stem cell toxicity testing, HemoGenix® provides its services to small, medium and half of the top 50 biopharmaceutical companies. HemoGenix® is the leader in predictive in vitro hemotoxicity testing by using its proprietary, high throughput HALO®-Tox HT Platform, as well as many other assay systems at any stage during the drug development pipeline. The proprietary assays specifically developed for its contract services have been further developed into assay kits to investigate the response of many different kinds of cells from different species to drugs and xenobiotic agents. HemoGenix® has developed a wide range of other toxicity assays including those for immunotoxicity, hepatotoxicity, cardiotoxicity, neurotoxicity and mesenchymal cell toxicity.In addition to toxicity assays, HemoGenix® has developed a wide range of products for stem cell and basic research, and cellular therapy and regenerative medicine. These include HemoGro serum-free medium and CellExpand for the in vitro expansion of different hematopoietic and lymphopoietic cell populations, to luminescence, fluorescence or absorbance endpoint assays, thereby allowing any available plate reader to be used. HemoGenix® is also only company to develop and commercialize highly specialized assays for hematopoietic stem cell therapy.
